I’m a full time, Class (A) breeder licensed by the United States Department of Agriculture. We do not sell to brokers or pet stores. The licenses are for you and your peace of mind. By having both MDA and USDA licenses, we are subject to unannounced kennel inspections from state and federal officials. This demands higher standards and regulation for us, and a safe reliable means of research for you.
We challenge all serious breeders to register their facilities with the State and US Departments of Agriculture. Wake up and smell the reason! It’s the right thing to do. Please join our efforts to weed out the puppy farmers one license at a time, by searching for, and supporting small licensed kennels like ours.

Money Well Spent
We’re not raising puppies to get rich. We wish we could give them away to good homes. We know that lower to average income families usually provide the best care for our animals, so we keep our prices fair. It’s very expensive for us to care for our twenty dogs, and your wonderful puppy the way we do. The small price we charge for a healthy puppy is quite reasonable, considering we try to provide the best animal care and facility we can. We don’t mind paying a little extra for the good stuff because our dogs and your puppy deserves the best. What is ten plus years of unconditional love and faithful companionship worth anyway?
Dog Capitol USA
Did you know Missouri is “Dog Capitol USA”? Many small towns like Rothville have more dogs than people! We’re also dubbed the “Show Me State” and we definitely know that quantity, doesn’t always equal quality. Maybe not all our breeders are worthy of praise and there are certainly many great breeders throughout the US, but Missouri is where the majority of all American purebred dogs come from today.
Please be careful pointing the “puppy mill” finger at our state. Who else would you like raising your puppies, Mr. Backyard or Mrs. Garage? Missouri has more state of the art animal care facilities than any other state. Most of us are licensed professionals willing and able to help you select a breed and find a great puppy. If you crave fresh oranges I recommend Florida’s. If you want to see the biggest trees in the world, they’re in California, but if you want one of the best puppies in the country, I humbly suggest trying a Missouri bred dog.
AKC is great! It was the first American dog registry founded and a prerequisite for entering most any form of professional dog competition. Some folks get tricked into thinking AKC means better quality, and willingly pay more based on that fact alone. Others just like to proudly say, “Yep, he’s an AKC purebred”.
Fact is, many professional pet producers and experienced pet owners support smaller registries too. We often use APRI just for the convenience, price and assurance of using a trusted Christian based company. AKC is the original registry so nearly all purebred dogs registered in America are AKC transferable. If you want your bragging papers or wish to compete professionally, just call or go online and have the AKC research your dog’s ancestry. Transfers are easy, but not free. Just petting a dog, has been clinically proven to greatly reduce stress, and promote better physical well being. Let’s not sugar coat it too much though. The initial training of a new puppy can be a bit stressful at times. It doesn’t happen over night, but the benefits of owning a well mannered dog for ten plus years makes it well worth the few days you invested training. You’ll not only receive therapeutic benefits you’ll likely acquire new friends, get more exercise and wonder how you ever survived without your MODOG.
