Payments

 

All payments must be for the exact amount made payable to Mo Dog Kennels. In state purchases are subject to sales tax (.05975). Online purchases via Pay Pal are subject to Pay Pal handling fee of 3%. Do not send payments or visit our facility without prior consent.. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase.

 

In Person: Cash, Postal Money Order.

By Mail: Postal Money Order, Cashier’s Checks.

Select a service with a tracking number and notify us of postdate.

 

Online: Pay Pal (Credit Card, Debit Card, eCheck, etc.)

Deposits

 

A 50% deposit (or prepay) of the puppy price is required to reserve. The final payment, plus shipping, handling and tax (if any) is due 3 days prior to puppy’s scheduled release date, or you may pay at pick up time.

 

Your deposits is non refundable UNLESS your puppy fails to receive a perfect bill of health when health inspected by our veterinarian at 8 weeks. Puppies will not be released or reserved until agreed payment(s) has been received and the funds have been verified.   

 

Puppies are released at 8 weeks of age or older. We reserve the right to hold a puppy longer if further development, healthcare or socializing is needed. * We’ll gladly  hold puppies up to 10 days past release date for free. A $3 per day kenneling fee begins when holding a puppy beyond 10 days of scheduled release date.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Visiting Policy

 

Please schedule an appointment. If hoping to adopt you should bring cash or  postal money order for the exact amount, made payable to Mo Dog Kennels.The following guidelines also apply to transactions made elsewhere.

 

• No animals allowed on the premises, or in your vehicle.

• Please do not handle strange animals or visit any animal clinics, kennels or shelters within 12 hours prior to your visit.

• Do not visit if any member of your party is, or has recently suffered from any contagious condition. (Cold, Flu, Rash, Herpes, ANY)

• Children under the age of 5 are limited to the outer area and conditioning room only, and are not allowed to handle animals

• Look but don’t touch unless otherwise instructed, please.

• No cussing, tobacco or firearms. Pull your pants up and mind your manners please.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shipping & Pick Ups

 

Air Travel: Commercial airline prices within the lower 48 states are around $250 for small breeds, and about $350 for large breeds. MODOG provides travel crate, health certificate, flight bookings and all the other countless things involved with commercial shipping, absolutely free. Please call for a free quote and complete information about commercial pet travel.

 

Customer Pick Up: Sales tax applies. We are one of few breeders that welcomes scheduled visits and customer pick ups. Please view our  visiting policies and contact Robert Allen to schedule your visit.

 

Handling: We will safely escort your new best friend to MCI, Kansas City airport (300 m RT) for only $25.00.  This fee might be waved if other puppies are shipping the same day. *If picking up in person, or meeting else where, you still must provide or purchase from MODOG a safe pet carrier.  We also deliver or meet part way at 50 cents per mile, up to 250 miles.

*UPDATE  For your safety and the welfare of our beloved animals, effective January, 1, of 2012 scheduled customer pick-ups remain welcome, however public access is now limited to our home or reception area. After 15 consecutive years of an “all doors open to everyone” policy, and having not received one complaint or inspection violation, we feel we have established a valid and verifiable reputation as responsible breeders. Humbly, we also mention to newcomers, over the years our facility has been complimented upon and commended by countless visitors including: hundreds of clients, animal inspectors, veterinarians, breeders, handlers, dog registry representatives and even reporters from reputable newspapers and dog magazines. more>
